We use a variety of methods to help students build their vocabulary, including games, puzzles, and activities that focus on word meanings, synonyms, antonyms, and context clues. We also provide students with access to online resources and materials that they can use to continue their vocabulary development outside of camp.

Reading Comprehension

We focus on improving students' reading comprehension skills through a variety of activities, including guided reading, close reading, and discussions. We also teach students how to use reading strategies such as predicting, inferencing, and summarizing. We provide students with a variety of reading materials that are appropriate for their reading levels, and we encourage them to read independently outside of camp.

Library: Parents will be required to take their child to the library for projects.
Computer: Children will need access to a computer and be able to access online resources for assignments.
